01

Butn / Moneybox

Head of Product Operations, Butn (ASX:BTN)Head of Operations, Moneybox2025 — 2026

Played a central role taking Moneybox, Butn's retail private credit fund, from operating concept to public launch, then led the fund's day-to-day operations.

That work spanned investor onboarding, unitisation, distributions, reporting, portal operations, exception management, compliance and Responsible Entity liaison.

Across Butn, assessed and developed new financial products, developed the next-generation lending-platform strategy, and used AI coding agents to build a working consumer-lending app prototype from scratch. Led supplier and technology changes that cut more than $350K in recurring annual cost while improving service coverage, and established a highly cost-effective ISO 27001 readiness programme.

Also led the product, commercial and operating work for an ASX-announced supply chain finance programme under an executed MOU with a Top 40 Global Bank.

eRefunds

Founding COO & Responsible Manager2020 — 2024

Spent more than four years helping build and operate the Australian business across customer operations, claims, compliance and partnerships, while serving as Responsible Manager across both AFSL and ACL environments.

The business recovered several million dollars for Australian consumers across claims involving 20+ major lenders. I also led improvements to the claims platform, built the Australian website and marketing materials, and developed partnerships with major insolvency firms.

03

Galrie

Founder2024 — present

Founded Galrie in 2024 as an international wall-art business selling museum-quality prints and framed art across the US, Australia, UK and Europe.

Built the brand, product range, storefront and operating model from scratch, spanning catalogue, UX, customer acquisition, retention, fulfilment and customer experience.

Since then, rebuilt much of the operation around a custom AI-agent system. Agents now perform real work across product data, advertising, storefront optimisation, lifecycle marketing, content, imagery and commercial analysis, with human approval retained around higher-risk actions.

04

Shopolla

Founder & CEO2012 — 2015

Founded and led Shopolla, an online department store built to give Australian consumers greater access to US brands and pricing.

Raised $550K from private investors, including an investment at an implied post-money valuation of $8M. Built a platform spanning 1,500+ brands and more than 600,000 products, together with the cross-border fulfilment model required to bring US inventory into Australia.

Reached $100K in monthly revenue within the first quarter of launch. The underlying technology was later sold to an international logistics company.

05

Weissbeerger / AB InBev

Country General Manager2017 — 2018

Joined Weissbeerger during its Australian launch and was promoted from City Operations Manager to Country General Manager, taking responsibility for the local market.

Led the rollout across CUB / AB InBev stakeholders, hospitality venues, outsourced installers and the overseas technology team, combining commercial ownership with hands-on implementation and technical problem solving.

The platform reached 400+ venues across four states, and Australia became the company's second-largest global market behind Canada, before Weissbeerger was acquired by AB InBev in a deal reported at approximately US$80M.

02 — AI / How I Work

At Galrie, AI agents now perform real operating work across the business — from product data and advertising to the storefront, lifecycle marketing, content, imagery and commercial analysis.

At Butn, I used AI coding agents to build a working consumer-lending app prototype from scratch, taking a product concept through to working software.

Across Butn and Moneybox, AI was also used extensively for reporting, analysis, materials, process design and prototyping within a regulated environment, with human review and accountability retained over regulated outputs.

The biggest shift has been moving from using AI to assist with work to designing systems where agents can actually do the work — defining what they know, what they can change, what gets checked, and where a person needs to step in. That approach sits behind Galrie's agent system, the lending prototype at Butn, and the way AI was used across Moneybox reporting and operations.
